Membership options
Organisations may choose to become solely a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct or in addition become an ACFID member or consulting affiliate.
Code signatory eligibility criteria
Organisations (not available to individuals) are eligible to be made a signatory if the organisation:
- is Australian;
- is a voluntary organisation;
- is a not-for-profit organisation; and
- conducts activities in the fields of co-operation in international relief and development, development assistance, development education and/or related services in Australia that are consistent with and supportive of the objectives of ACFID.
Benefits of signatory status
All signatories (whether ACFID members, consulting affiliates or non-member signatories) have access to advice and support from the Code Management Team.
Signatories (unless also ACFID members) do not have voting rights.
Signatories (unless also ACFID members or consulting affiliates) do not have access to the full range of ACFID services.
