Section 5 Finances underwent a comprehensive review in 2009. The most notable change was the introduction of differential reporting. The revised Section 5 Finances became effective on 1 January 2010. All signatories are encouraged to review the new financial reporting formats. Code Compliance Training, incorporating the revised Section 5 Finances, will be conducted mid-April 2010. Full details of the training will be available at ACFID training as they are finalised. Revised financial reporting implementation dates are: - for financial year-end 31 December 2010 — first report in revised format due by 11 May;
- for financial year-end 31 March 2011 — first report in revised format due by 11 August;
- for financial year-end 30 June 2011 — first report in revised format due by 11 November; and
- for financial year-end 31 September 2011 – first report in revised format due by 12 February.
