Information Management Officer

  • Do you have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the establishment and management of information management frameworks, strategic understanding and policies and procedures and their practical application in an electronic information and knowledge management environment?

ACFID is looking for people who have initiative, a commitment to excellence, strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, an ability to think conceptually as well as creatively, the capacity to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and to work within a team environment.

The current information and knowledge environment within ACFID does not meet our current and future needs. There is a need to move from the current file server oriented physical environment for document management and move to a more modern information and knowledge management cloud based environment. Along with these changes is moving to modern web services and content management systems catering for better provision of ACFID’s information to both internal and external audiences, including the advanced use of social media. This is a ‘green field’ and will require a holistic approach to modern information & knowledge management services including the development and implementation of classification schemes and taxonomies.’

The position is offered for two years initially, with a view to permanency.

ACFID offers a salary range of $69,250 to $80,585 (depending on experience and qualifications) per annum (includes a tax free fringe benefit concession of $15,900) plus 9.5% superannuation. You will enjoy a flexible workplace with free parking and a friendly and supportive team environment.
