In 2009, funds from community support made up 73% of total funds raised by agencies. These private donations to aid and development NGOs have decreased by an average of 0.7%% from the previous year. However, there has been an average increase of 10% per year in real terms over the period 2001-09.

  1. Government aid for 2010–11 is from the 2010–11 budget
  2. Index is set at 100 in 2001 and the figures take into account inflation
  3. 2005–06 peak is due to Indian Ocean tsunami
