These charts show where funds generated from donations and fundraising from the Australian public, and funds sourced from AusAID, were spent regionally.

 

Central Asia includes Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

East Asia includes Burma, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, East Timor, Vietnam.

South Asia includes Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.

Australia includes funds spent on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs.

International involves any funds that support projects implemented globally.
