Australian giving to aid

   

International aid and development funds managed by Australian NGOs, 2004–2008

Funds from the Australian community continue to provide by far the largest proportion of money for overseas work undertaken by Australian NGOs.

Community support and other income: includes revenue from donations, fundraising events, bequests, investments and other income, including gifts in kind.

Other donors: includes funds from multi-lateral organisations such as UN agencies and development banks, and funds from Australian funding agencies other than AusAID.

AusAID funds: includes funds received via ANCP (matching grants), country program windows, emergency response, volunteer programs and other contracts.
