Sri Lanka Working Group
The main focus of this group is to advocate for an end to human rights violations and for resolution of conflict within the country and appropriate aid and development. The group is a member of the International Working Group on Sri Lanka.
In 2006, the group was very active in advocating through ACFID and by individual member agencies with the Australian Government to promote a resolution to the conflict. Since then, the group has been ACFID’s most active working group in pushing advocacy issues, discussing program activities and sharing valuable information.
